Hehe, the shoes that took me 10KM all the way to the finishing line, w00t!
I went 10KM without stopping, which some of you may find as nothing special, but to me it's great coz I didn't stop at all, lol. Previously I only tried up to 6, never 10, and today I even ran with my BAG. Omgoose, I thought there was going to be a bag deposit point for us, but there WASN'T. I was feeling really crappish when I knew I had to run with my bloody bag.
I ran anyway... and it wasn't seriously that hard, but it did become a bother when it started to RAIN. Just after the 6KM mark, I think, it started pouring like hell, and everybody was drenched. But I didn't stop, coz I wanted to achieve a no-stop race to the finish. Holy shit, the rain totally wet my bag and shoes, and my clothes were like swimming pools, lol. The shirt and shorts became heavier with the water and my specs were like, totally obscured, lol.
When I reached the finish line, the most irritating thing was that nobody seemed to want to run anymore. Basket, they were all walking and clogging up the area. I was rushing to finish when everyone just got stuck there. I was seriously ready to whack anybody who got in my way.
Haiz... overall, today was not bad, this is my first REAL run, unlike that 5KM milkrun, haha. I think 2.4 shouldn't be a big deal now... xD
