I'll talk about yesterday's bbq, since there's nothing else to talk about anyway.
Went to li shuang's house to get all the stuff for the bbq ready. Me and aaron had to do some kitchen stuff first, which, sad to say, is a WOMEN'S thing, lol. Had totally 0% experience in that sort of thing.
Reached pasir ris at around 1pm. The others had already gotten there but didn't know where the carpark was, so they spent ages finding us, haha. The first thing we did was to rent bicycles. The bicycle rental near our pit had apparantly been closed and we walked all the way to other side to rent bikes. Rented expensives ones for 3 hours, oh my bloody hell. Rode to the end of the park and got bitten by mosquitoes, then came back and rode again, LOL.
jia hui and I engraved our initials on the rocks at the viewing plaza, haha, so 20 years down the road I'll go back and see if it's still there, lol. When we returned back to the pit, we both kena sabo by the rest. They threw water bombs at us.
LOL
I just nice siam the first one, then dunno who go throw on my back, whole shirt wet, had to run away like idiot, haha. We chased walter, but he ran away, then we found him climbing up the spacenet at the playground, LOL, we threatened to throw at him from there if he didn't come down, HAHA, and he was like, just stuck there at the top!
We climbed the spacenet, reached the top, and took photos of ourselves, haha, and it's bloody scary coz the whole pole is shaking.
bbq ended, didn't eat much. Then we went to the esplanade to look-see. Was very nice. Inside got a lot of shops, and there's this one shop which sells movie merchandise, really cool. And jia hui was going crazy about the lightsaber models for star wars, lol. There were stuff like the Ring from LOTR, and quality sculpted wands from Harry Potter, but of course, very expensive lah.
li shuang wanted to walk back to mrt by the main road, but that was a bad idea, coz it started raining, REALLY heavily, like tsunami wave. We had umbrellas, but they made no real difference, LOL. When we finally reached the mrt station, the whole floor was dripping wet coz of us, haha.
Went back home wayyyyy past my curfew time, but didn't get any scolding because of the rain thingy, haha.

Hey, sorry ppl, for keeping my mouth shut in the computer world for so long, haha, or maybe you all like it this way, hmmm...
Right now have a lot of things to say but I can't bear to write it all out now, at 12am, zzzzzz, I'll update next time.

Had quite a satisfying day today, went to school in the afternoon for scrabble training. Was quite dull at first, only a few ppl, then si yuan and the others turned up. I didn't see jai though, I've been wondering whether he's gone missing or something, I always cannot contact him, lol.
The instructor taught us the basics of playing scrabble, saying there were three levels of intelligence we could apply to scrabble, haha, really is just about strategy and how you use your head. Like, we had to see what word we could make up that would give us the most points and we would have to decide whether to play an open or a closed game. Seriously strategic stuff, if you ask me, it takes up more brain cells than chess! And they use chess clocks for the game, so it felt kind of awkward, pressing the clock when not playing chess, haha.
Learnt a whole bunch of new and unorthodox words. Really. In the world of scrabble there are such words as 'qi', 'xi', 'paua', 'incudes', 'pa', 'ha', 'waked' etc etc, in short, all of the words that I have never ever heard or read before. And anagrams are the most mind racking things you will have to think of. I had THREE Bingos, lol, I didn't know each of them until the instructors came and pointed them out. YAY, each bingo earned me well over 60 points a turn, how cool is that? But of course, it was really just a cheat, coz the instructors helped, haha.
There was this annoying sec1 guy who kept on making extremely
obvious noises of discontent because he had to leave for his tuiton at 6. All the way through debrief he was making those FUCKINGLY LOUD 'sssssssss' and 'tsk' noises with his mouth and constantly shaking his leg so hard his whole head shook with it. I could tell the instructor and mrs lim were trying hard not to notice him nor pay him any attention but I just found it so fucking annoying.
Will his tuition teacher drown him in the toilet bowl for being late? Will he DIE just because he's late? Better late than never, right?
Anyway, still kept in a good mood for the rest of the day. They gave us a notebook on scrabble to look through and the next training is actually next year! Can you believe that?
And by the way, do check out that xiao xiao movies website, it's really funny.
Bye peeps!
--< blabbered at 10:44 PM >--
I highly recommend this site, go check it out!!! Thanks to fu sen who introduced it to me, haha.

Hmmm, today's training not bad, got pumped a few times, and revised stunts, I feel that we are getting better, though not really up to standard yet.
Went to eat fried rice,
again, but I think it was really the cheapest so far. We all had a great laugh talking about NP stuff like ATC and blahblahblah.
Came back home thoroughly tired and worn out. Wanted to sleep, REALLY badly. Then fu sen called and said he was already coming over, and I didn't think it would be nice to be sleeping while a friend visited, lol, but I can't believe it, I slept anyway. Sia lah, by the time I woke up at 5.30, fu sen was already going to leave, lol.
Had a horrible dream just now. Dreamt that li shuang came back and demanded angrily why I haven't prepared the stuff for bbq yet. It was more of a nightmare, I tell you... When you're guilty of something and the guilt appears in your dreams, zzzzzzzz.
Scary...

Watched harry potter GoF today. My brother's BIRTHDAY, oooooooh, lol.
Went eng wah cinema at ang mo kio, bought tickets, ate some stuff then went up to the hall. Man, we went there early and it was lucky coz almost immediately the hall was filled by large groups of ppl all over the place, looking for their seats.
And you know before every movie starts there will be a few advertistments and trailers? Well, I think this one was SERIOUSLY overdone. We sat there watching movie trailers for like what, half-an hour? Really, after they showed that chicken little ad about switching off your hps in the cinema, we all thought it was gonna start. In the end, we were treated to about six or seven more 'upcoming movies'. And we were caught off guard when the movie started with the snake sliding across the grass, lol, we thought it was another ad!
I think the movie's really well done, the effects and all. But I feel that rupert grint(ron) was a bit too quiet in the movie, I mean, I seem to remember that he hardly talked, lol. They've all,
grown up, really, very obvious. Hmmm, forgive me for saying this, but I think that cho chang should change her name to
chio chang. MY GORD. Don't call me a perv, I'm just expressing my views :P
O.o
Halfway through the show, the screen suddenly went fuzzy and really blurred, couldn't see anything clearly. Then my dad went down to tell the staff that something was wrong, they came up shortly and stopped the projector, wiped it, then started again. Man, my dad saved the day! But later, the lights just suddenly came on and everybody was caught by surprise, so many problems, lol. Hmmm, I have an advice for ppl who haven't watched GoF and want to watch it, better not buy drinks and keep your bladders clear, because the movie isn't exactly short and you will be stuck trying to decide whether to visit the toilet or to hold it and carry on watching.
Aha!
walter seems to have gotten himself free tickets for the GoF this thursday!!! Well, since they invited me I shan't turn them down, eh? No harm watching it again...

Training today postponed to tomorrow. Dunno if it's a bad thing or not. Hmmm, can stay at home but I know I won't do anything useful, lol.
Been re-reading the order of the phoenix and the half blood prince recently, suddenly become highly interested in what will come out in the seventh harry potter book. You should check out this site:
http://www.mugglenet.com/index.shtml.
It's got a great amount of resources and things like theories about what's happening in the books. Hmmm, there are also stuff like couple pairings, oddities and mistakes mentioned in the books, snape playing double-triple-quadruple agent, and even the possiblity of harry being a horcrux himself!
Go read it, seriously.

Great,

I really dunno if it's the flashbox's problem or my computer's problem.

INFURIATION
The damn flashbox has cranked up again. I dunno if anybody else is experiencing it, but now this message appears where the flashbox is supposed to be:

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.34 Server at www.myflashbox.sg Port 80I'm really thoroughly fed-up, hope this thing goes away.
--< blabbered at 11:55 PM >--
Hell, the bbq only about a week away and I haven't settled anything yet, zzzzzzzzzz.
I have to get the money from eveybody, top up that cashcard and book the pit. Not to mention, I don't know exactly whether the new recruits are supposed to join in as well, and now that li shuang's gone to sabah I'm in deep shit.
I think I'll ask advice from zhuang yi or roland, ya, I think they'll have a better idea on how to do things.
And just to satisfy some of your curious and craving minds out there, I DO NOT try to follow what ppl do. I don't go around monkey seeing and monkey doing on anybody, so that should answer some of those idiots' questions out there.

I just can't stand my brother at times. Today I let him use my account to let him send an email. He had difficulty going to the page and I helped him. He showed me a fucking pugged up face and if that wasn't enough, when he failed to send the message he just pushed me aside and stormed out of the room. I really wanted to just wallop the hell out of him, the bloody ingrateful prat.

You know what? I'm gonna tell this to the world:
I FUCKING HATE SMOKERS.
Just now went out for dinner at khatib central. Had ppl smoking their faces off at the tables. And there was this old fella sitting at the table puffing away as if his life depended on it. He just fucking pissed me off with the fumes rushing out of his nose like an exhaust pipe. Worst still, the smoke travelled over to our table. I swear that if it was lawful to do so, I'd go up to him and smack him round the head. BLOODY SMOKER. YOU'LL KILL PPL, YOU WANNA DIE GO DIE YOURSELF.
I'm sorry to say this, but I really want to curse that old man to die faster through his smoking. Yeah, you're old and you're smoking like hell, go ahead and smoke summore, you'll die faster and the rest of us will be rid of fuckers like you.
Bloody hell. It's like, they decided that having a cigg stuck in their mouths and letting smoke stream out of their yellow-toothed mouths looked cool. It sucks ok, it sucks, nothing cool about that. It's a complete outrage, why didn't they ban smoking? I hate having to go to the coffeeshop to let my nose be treated to wisps of crap issueing from ppl's mouths and noses. The smell really sucks ok, and I don't want to be a passive smoker, and die earlier than need be.
Smoking should be banned everywhere. Although I know that's not possible. Why? It's all about the $$. Damn. If you ppl want to drop your smoking habit, you'd better do it fast. Everybody is going to die someday and you're just making yourself die more quickly.
--< blabbered at 9:11 PM >--
Went for training today, at first thought only got six ppl, then the girls turned up, haha, nice one.
We repaired the rifles with a mountain of masking tapes and plastic wraps, lol, the
fish rifle. It's really funny lor, haha, the butt is broken and is literally flapping around like a fish's tail, LOL. And apparantly it was roland who broke it. Guess what, just to accomodate the number of ppl in the squad we broke two more rifles, sweet isn't it? And done on purpose, haha, they hit the rifle on the floor so hard I think the whole school could hear it.
I frankly think that the stunts that soo teck came up with are very complicated.
Really.
Like that throwing stunt what the hell. Requires you to injure your fingers before mastering it, lol. Ok lah, looks nice when done correctly together, but hard to master. And that slope joon kiat made, omgoose, hard to do. LUCKY we're using those light rifles, otherwise they'll be impossible to do.
Water coolers not working at new school!!! We brought water bottles and they weren't enough, seriously. We finished all our bottles, including the extra three that soo teck brought along, lol.
Training ended, we went to eat at the 'cafe' near the school. It was hidden inside the HDB blocks, and its not bad, fried rice quite good.
Returned to yishun campus for air pistol meeting. And some kind of meeting it was. Crap. We just sat around talking cock. And pratically everybody was there, and samuel and aldrich were missing, damn. That's what I sometimes don't like about the whole cca, it's when there are gatherings like this and you DON'T KNOW anybody there at all.
Then they sorted us into groups. jia hui different group, sian. I hope that li shuang will be in my group when she returns, so that at least there's someone I know in the group. The group meeting, I can tell you, is 100% ultra super duper SIAN. Everybody so unenthusiastic. I mean, like when our group leader was talking, everybody was like, nodding heads and looking elsewhere. Zzzzzz. Can't stand it. And everybody's ALIEN in my group, really.
jia hui came over with two cds. Wanted to burn secret weapons to play on his comp, but apparantly the cd has some kind of copyright thing, and he wasted to cds on copying, which now can't be used to play at all. I suggested using the cds for decoration. Stupid I know, but it's been done before, frankly speaking.

Oh for the love of hell, they choose six ppl and I think the rest are really getting very fucked up right about now... I don't know what to feel, just very ah, dunno how to say. I dunno what li shuang will say when she returns from sabah, won't be anything good, I believe.
aaron kena (rashes?) from eating seafood, which he has an allergy, LOL, so he says tomorrow he's coming in jacket and trackpants, haha, it'll probably look funny. Zzzzzz
And so, should we report to the yishun campus or the sembawang campus tomorrow? I hate this kind of information breakdown, it sux when you inform a person that this is going to start at this time and then another person passes down that that is going to start at that time instead of this time, get it?
Whatever...
--< blabbered at 10:16 PM >--
Wah, slept at 3 plus last night, playing the computer, haha.
Today went to walter's house to play battlefield 2. Met jia jun coz I didn't know how to get there, lol. Hmmm, battlefield 2's not bad, but the screen was a bit fuzzy so my head was spinning slightly after playing for a while.
Supposed to visit mrs mohan with marcus this evening, but he couldn't make it, so maybe another day, haiz...
Nothing much to blog about today, maybe tomorrow. Got trainings, but not sure if it's at the old or new campus, lol.

The stuff that goes on to my uniform, haha, there'll be more to come...

I'm having a bloody hard time trying to find a free webhost on the net. It's really pissing me off when I sign up for a webhost only to find out that it doesn't accept uploading of mp3 or image files, or not sending me any confirmation emails to tell me whether the account has been activated or not.
DAMN IT.
It's really hard trying to find a good and free host that ACTUALLY responds to your registration.
--< blabbered at 8:50 PM >--
Had meeting with li shuang today morning, talked about the bbq, date is confirmed and three ppl are to help li shuang prepare the food on that day. Haha, she asked me to collect the money and book the pit, zzz, I dunno how to book yet and I still need to top up jai's cashcard to use the AXS machine.
Stayed back in school until 10 plus to do some homework. Then went to see the results of our streaming. 3/7 - geog, okay, at least they didn't persist in giving me lit, or I'll die, haha. Summore xiang long tio chinese lit, well, good luck :P
walter is taking A maths next year, wow, that means we can study maths together? And bradney made it to 3/6. Hmmm, surprises do happen...
Some new faces coming into 3/7 next year, like samuel, sze jin, etc etc, and also, amy.(aaron will be so sad...) :P
Went home and I clean forgot about chess club today, dammit. Nah, decided to skip it anyway, since I was already so late, haha. jia jun and walter came over and we went to khatib mac to check for job vacancies. Hmmm, I'm not really interested in working at mac, I'd rather do the fliers job, it seems easy and has a reasonable pay, haha, but the fella said to find him at lucky plaza for the job. Does anybody know where is that???
Duh, anyway, my parents haven't given me any permission for working, zzzz...
--< blabbered at 6:06 PM >--
"For your tomorrow, we gave our today."
No time to update yesterday, so talking about happened yesterday TODAY.
Yesterday we went to the kranji war memorial for remembrance day to commemorate the people who died during WWII.
Hell, jia hui was late, and when we reached yishun, we couldn't get a cab to AI. Furthermore, we were late. But due to a HUGE stroke of luck and coincidence, mr soh happened to drive by and he saw us.
LOL. We were like, the luckiest people on earth?
We rode in his car to AI.
At the war memorial, we had to walk past this ultra-large and grandly decorated cemetry to the flat area at the front. Man, all the british officials, army officers and guests were there, including the SAF and the SPF band. Also, there were TONS of uniformed groups there attending the ceremony: ncc, npcc, bb, gg, gb, rc, sjab, ncdcc, you name it. All were there, haha.
After we fall in, the ceremony started with the british high commissioner opening the speech. It was a long talk, followed by songs by the choir. I can tell you, we stood there for so long listening to speeches that a LOT of people fell out and reported sick. rahimi was the first, he just crouched down suddenly and said he couldn't tahan. Then another sjab guy crouched down, and even worse, an np guy from another school actually DROPPED to the ground. We could hear the 'plunk' sound when he fell and he was like, shaking around on the ground, , like he was having a fit, scary...
They moved all the casualties to someplace and the parade had considerably less people after that, lol.
One of the boys in the choir actually sung a wrong word and he apologised in the middle of the song, lol. The song was 'abide with me', and he sang the lyrics something like 'aboud with me'.
There's this particular phrase I like from the speech yesterday, which is "
For your tomorrow, we gave our today", something like that. Used to express the sacrifice made by the people who died during WWII.
There was like, a really sad mood with everybody and it was terribly stiffening. It was like, really very solomn. So the mood lightened abit when we went to bukit timah hill for the second part of the pragramme. We climbed to a spot at the foot of the hill, where a WWII veteran spoke to us about the history of bukit timah and how the soldiers during his time fought.
I think we were lucky they didn't ask us to climb the whole of bukit timah, coz we wearing full-u and our boots would get us hardly anywhere without spraining our ankles, on a HILL.
Well, an eventful day, first time being at the war memorial, if you have the chance, you should go and take a look there, it's a good historical experience and you will appreciate the sacrifice of the soldiers and civilians who died for this day.

check out these sites for khairul anwar's blogskins, they're great!
http://www.khaidesigns.com/ - the main page
http://www.blogskins.com/me/khai666 - the blogskins page
--< blabbered at 11:35 PM >--
yayayayayaya.
I know that the blogskins description of this skin says it's 'feminine', but I think that it's perfectly fine with me and I like it, so don't go around saying I'm GAY or anything. Haha.
Yup, I re-did the whole thing on the links and tagboard and stuff, and I'm trying to see if I can fix a radio blog inside here, but that's gonna take time, lol. And I had to work out the DAMN css for the blog template, resized the background and changed a few things, spent a loooong time on it but looks worth it, haha, especially on the colours part...
Tomorrow have the kranji war memorial visit, kind of impromtu right now, and I haven't even prepared my uniform or anything, and my boots are with walter O.o
zzzz.
I'm gonna prepare my uniform now...
Bye peeps!
--< blabbered at 10:49 PM >--
Hey peeps, sorry for not updating recently, haha, lazy to update...
Eventful day? Ya, I think so. Today was supposed to a meeting held by li shuang to discuss the bbq thing, but halfway to school, she sms me say got high fever, cannot come, and told me to take over the meeting, lol. Reached school, only roland and jai were there; I came with walter. Waited a little longer and jia jun and xiang long turned up, zzzzz, only so few of us, then came sze jin and you wei, haha. I don't believe the sec1s didn't know, aiya, but nvm...
We discussed about the dates, everybody can go on 1dec except sze jin, going overseas, then we couldn't find any other date to settle on. Then had to talk about what kind of food we wanted, well, didn't actually talk much about that, just the 'usual' stuff you'd see at a bbq. Discussed about some other things, can't remember, still unclear about the stuff, then checked out the AXS machine for booking details of the pit, haha, now do I realise the usefulness of the AXS machine. But we couldn't do much anyway coz we had no specific date to book... but li shuang said that we could settle on 29nov, so maybe?
After that everybody seemed to be in the mood for arcade, LOL, so we went to GV funland in our half-u, zzzzz. Guess what, during holiday is supposed to be okay to enter arcade in uniform, on a weekEND, but anyway, the uncle said we were not allowed, so we just hid in one corner and watched aaron and jai play initial d, zzzz, boring....
Went home to change, eat, then went funland again, this time we played daytona and they played initial d for such a long time everybody was getting annoyed. Took bus to safra and played one hour cs, hehe, we trashed aaron's team, and he wasn't happy. Then went to play pool, for the first time in my life. And I know I'm noob, the first time I hit the ball, it jumped and went sideways, MALUUU
Only aaron was good at it, the rest of us just tried to learn how to play, haha.
Went to mac to talk cock, and sze jin was talking about her work: selling ice cream and giving fliers. Everybody got so interested that they started thinking about working the same thing. Seems interesting, can earn your own pocket money, but dunno if parents will agree. Sat there and hogged the table(without guilt) for about half an hour before leaving.
My ez-link ran out of credit. Had to walk back home, from YISHUN. Haiz.... walter wanted to come to my house to borrow my boots for tomorrow, so he agreed to walk with me as well, haha, so good.
Now come back already, li shuang asked me call a few ppl, and guess what? rahimi's back, haha, and he immediately agreed on going to the kranji memorial trip tmr, lol, as enthu as ever...

I don't like you. You make me sick. It may not be your fault, but you simply make me dislike you.
FUCK YOU.
--< blabbered at 11:08 PM >--
Today supposed to have a meeting with li shuang for something. Have an inkling about what it is about, but not sure. Was cancelled anyway, haiz... I was hoping that I could get out for a while.
aaron and joe came over today, boring, didn't know what to do, then we went out to northpoint and went to arcade, wanted to play lan but aaron thought it'd be very boring again, lol, so they played daytona and I just watched them, zzzzzzzz....
Chess club tomorrow , hope it'll be interesting. Anyway, is it starting at 10am or 1pm??? zzzzz, I dunno and seems like nobody knows, damn.
I know it's not my business to care anymore, but still, that lingering feeling of being fooled still hangs around. I don't like it.

Tuesday, November 08, 2005
Yes, I still want to talk about it, I don't want to stop. Nobody's gonna stop me.
This is what I feel about the situation during a performance, so whatever you think is wrong, tagboard please.
The focus of the performance is about the audience's attention on the performers. In pds, there are many things affecting this. For example, where do you want to face to ensure that the audience's attention is on you? Do you want them to see the rifles, or do you want them to look at you instead? Do you want them to see your formation, or your stunts?
There are two things that happened during the ROD performance that concerns this. For example, the rolls royce stunt. When the spinners are doing it, we are facing the audience. You might think, ya, you're facing the audience, isn't that what you want? But I think not. The rifle is main highlight of this stunt because there is a thrown spin involved. HOW IN THE HELL do you want the audience to see that beautiful dumbass rifle spinning when you are spinning it SIDEWAYS? If you are spinning it in front of you, the audience can clearly see it, but not sideways. Imagine, the audience only looks at the rifle flying upwards and they will think that the stunt is crap coz they CAN'T SEE anything going on. You know what I'm talking about? Do you think that the audience will be able to see what you are doing with the rifle if your back is faced to them? It's an almost similar case.
And this is a good one. Do you think it's really that nice to have only one stunt for each formation? I don't think so. Nobody thinks so. Seriously, I think that the only formation that looked nice with one stunt was the one with amy stunt, it looked nice I agree but the others? SUCK. One for one, the audience will get bored very easily, and when they get bored, sorry to say, their attention span decreases like hell. In the end, we are also just performing for the hell of it. We should change already. Something should be done. We have already made this mistake during NDP, and we repeat it again during ROD. It's not right.
Another thing. When the spinners are spinning, the non-spinners are throwing rifles at the back. What do you make of this? I think this is BULLSHIT. I'll tell you why. When we are spinning, and they are throwing, who do you think you'll look at? I dunno about you, but the majority will look at the spinners, I am sure of that, because spinning is an
oh-so-fantastic-thing and not many ppl can do it. Yes, this is the truth, not many will look at the 'throwers'. And those who notice that both spinners and throwers are doing something, they will try to look at both, and what happens? Their focus is disrupted coz there are two different things going on at the same time. In the end, the performance is not nice. And do you think the non-spinners will feel very happy? No. They will feel like they are very extra and very un-needed.
I'm still saying this to soo teck, just because you have experienced being very extra on stage and never ever complained to anybody, it does not mean you can expect everybody to follow your example. They cannot
learn this from you. This is natural human reaction, when you are left out, you will confirm 100% gurauntee feel hurt and very un-needed, and feel unhappy. I heard this from sze jin when I talked to her, she said that they were throwing rifles at the
back when we were spinning, and she said nobody looked at them. This is how they feel, get it?!?! You cannot expect them to be like you because this is natural human emotion. Don't tell me you're not human.
This brings me to my next point. You want to have spinners and non-spinners? Then why not do this. When the spinners are spinning, the non-spinners stay at the back and do nothing, keep a low profile. Then when it's their turn, they go to the front to do throwing, and the spinners go to the back and do nothing, keep a low profile.
You see how this works?
The attention is divided amongst the two groups and the audience's focus is not messed up. This is the least that can be done if the non-spinners don't have a chance to spin. For god's sake, do the two have to do it at the same time? And the non-spinners at the BACK?!?! Might as well not do right??? Can you imagine how they FEEL??? They will feel inferior and feel like the "other" group who "cannot" spin. The way the formation was done that night only made them feel twice as worse. UNDERSTAND???
I've told you about the spinning part before and you think that I'm trying to teach you how to conduct pds. I also think that's BULLSHIT. I am NOT trying to teach you how to do this, but I am giving you a suggestion which I feel is worth landing in your ears. Yes, it is true that I will gladly want to teach you how to do it, but I am not the leader, you are. You can choose to listen to my views and you can also ignore them, but bear in mind that what I say here represents the majority of how me and my squadmates feel.
--< blabbered at 9:15 PM >--
Forgot to mention something important.
On the way back we talked about pds and other stuff, soo teck was still convinced that the OC could do anything he wanted because he has the power and the authority.
I don't feel this way.
I feel that no matter what position you are in, the student OC, the unit OC, the superintendent, the inspector, the commissioner of police or whatever, you always have to listen to your subordinates' opinions. Yes, you may have the power and you may have the authority, but what if you are corrupted? Nobody dares to correct you because you are the ultimate in power, and you continue to be in the wrong, is that how a leader should be?
NO. You should lead them through their respect for you. If they are afraid of you, they will indeed follow your orders. But if they respect you because you respect them and their opinions, they will follow your orders with ease and confidence in their hearts because they know that you are a listening leader. You are able to listen to their opinions and change for the better. It is better than being a tyrant. It is never a one man show in this situation.
I am saying this to soo teck, a leader should listen to his men's comments and ideas, only that way can the performance improve. It is not always 'follow the leader', coz a leader is bound to have his faults, and it's up to his men to correct it. What's more, if only the leader plans everything and expects everybody to follow it, he is only having a one-sided perspective and he does not know the fault of his plan. With a squad, you have many ppl who can express their views. They can even provide ideas and suggestions to make things better. soo teck, you have to try to change how joon kiat thinks about this. Perhaps joon kiat is already improving, I can somewhat see that, but you have to put this across strongly to him.
Some of you may think that I am all talk no action. Yes, true, I say all these things but I do not have a plan on how to execute them, I am not in a position to do so, because I am not the leader, I am the follower, I can only give the suggestion but I cannot carry it out, BUT this is what I think that the leader should be doing.

Today had to go to school to help to pack up the equipment in the pe stores. aaron and I were late so we reached school at about 9 plus, and everybody was already there, and guess what? zhuang yi was actually the IC for that day, haha. Lucky there were no ncos, if not we confirm kenasai for being late... lol.
They asked us to go collect boxes from outside to store all the equipment and we were like, searching the whole of the damn northpoint for boxes. LOL. That supermarket at the mrt station(forgot what it is) refused to give us any of their boxes, even though they had like, a whole LOADING BAY of boxes, damn it. Then we went to cold storage to ask for boxes. I managed to get one box, one small pathetic one, haha. Then we went around to the storehouse of cold storage and found over 20 boxes that we could take. We took around 6 and left with our happy loot, haha.
When we returned to school, they said they needed bigger boxes and we were like, what the hell... In the end we didn't bother to go find anymore boxes, who could possibly be so thick-skinned???
We opened the balls store and took out the volleyballs to kick soccer :P
yay.
FUN, we kicked and slacked around for a while, and twice I hit somebody with the ball, LOL, sze jin and another sec1, dunno who.
We then went to find bigger boxes again, this time we went to bornia(or bonia?), the handbag shop at the first floor to try our luck. Haha, when we asked at the counter, roland called the auntie 'xiao jie', HAHA, she was embarassed and told us to call her 'auntie' instead, and roland then told her she was still young.
oooh, in the end she gave us four BIG boxes, lol, I dunno if it's because she's generous or it's thanks to roland's sweet tongue, HAHA.
Went back, kicked some more balls, and we tried to kick those medicine balls. WHAT THE HELL, they will damage your feet do not go and kick them!!!
Later met jia hui and soo teck to go for the air pistol briefing at bukit gombak, YES, bukit gombak, NOT bukit batok, somebody passed down wrong info.
hui qun and jessie weren't there, so we went by ourselves, man, so awkward.
We reached bukit gambok when soo teck suddenly said that we'd better get off there, coz he said he suspected that it was gombak not batok, haha. Luckily, it was true, we found the home team ns club there. Went upstairs to the shooting range and found that the briefing was cancelled.
It was FUCKING cancelled. We wasted our damn time there.
Worst, some of the schools had booked the space to train TODAY. So you see, they took the advantage, haiz. And the pistols they use there are completely different pistols. They look like those WWII german pistols, haha. They don't use air cylinders but soo teck said they use mechanisms, so it'll be heavier.
zzzzzz, hope that we can win, do np proud, haha.

I think I'm gonna stay away from the umbrella for a while now...
--< blabbered at 10:21 PM >--
Went to school today to hand in the form for the camp and the $30. Heart pain you know... $30 leh, not 30cents mind you, haha. After that, went back home and lazed around.
jia hui called me in the afternoon, said there was supposed to be chess club today. At first I was shocked, I mean, I was like, WHAT THE HELL, BUT I'M ALREADY AT HOME!!!
Whatever... In the end I rushed to school to find absolutely NOBODY there. I wanted give jia hui a nice slap in the face when I met him, but didn't, LOL, guess I was just grateful to be able to get out of the house for a while.
Came back, and was looking for something to do. Then I found the "wishing stairs" vcd. It's a korean horror movie, but I think it was like, not scary? Hmmm, the first part wasn't anything horrific, the second part was okok, haha. It was a bit grotesque though... I mean like, the girl was killed and covered in modelling clay, and the teacher who found her thought she was a sculpture and wrote a note of praise saying, 'your the best' as in 'your the best sculptor'
LOL.

Dots, everybody just seems so damn pissed off nowadays, dunno what's bugging their 'noggin, LOL.

I'm a 100% certified computer geek now.
I spend almost every single day on the computer on msn, internet, music, cs, battlefield, blog and what-not. What's more, I play the xbox once in a while for over hours. Sometimes these gives me splitting headaches but I just don't care, I carry on playing. Last night I played battlefield until 2am in the morning and woke up at around 12 today. Man, I'm simply fabulous!
The air pistol camp has a FEE, OMFGOOSE/GOD/GOSH/GAY/GUNDU/GRIM REAPER.
$30!!!
It's not cheap, this camp is actually self-funded. And I'm starting to wonder why each person has to pay so much money for a single camp. The price is just plain ridiculous. And I'm really not enthusiastic, yet I don't have a valid reason for not attending, DUH.

NO, wait!!!
I've just realised, you CAN'T even post anonymously in my tagboard, HAHA!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
For those of you who are curious, go give it a try, hehe.
--< blabbered at 11:26 PM >--
oooh, just read vanessa's blog, talking about people who post comments without stating their name.
I mean, it's ok lah, no need to get so fucked up by the anonymous'ses, haha.
I think it's fine if you wanna put "anonymous", as long as the comments don't mean harm in any way.
But otherwise, why would the blog allow nameless people to comment? If so, then the blog should force people to write down a name or a simple nick to identify themselves, lol. Imagine, after you have finished typing in your comment, then the blog bugs you to put down your name, "
I won't let you comment until you write down your GODDAMNED NAME!!!"
HAHA! Can anybody write a html for that?
Haha, I wouldn't mind anonymous posts in my tagboard, UNLESS they are offensive. And if I do find out who posts offensively in my tagboard, I swear I'll go FLAME his tagboard till it turns to ASH!!!
Dots... I'm joking :P

I extracted these from almost EVERYWHERE I could search, haha, was hoping to find more photos of npcc in the past, but only got a few, lol.

Not a bad day today. At least, not as boring as most other days, lol.
Woke up in the morning, 8.30, went for air pistol briefing.
omgoose, mr yeo announced that we would be having an air pistol camp in december in the holding campus. And I was like, A camp for air pistol?!
I'm really not keen.
The camp is supposed to be for four days. FOUR DAYS? I dunno what we're gonna do there, hope it's interesting, like np camps. Haha, I've never heard of any other cca having camps before, well, except councillor, so I dunno what to expect.
Hmmm, I look forward to np camps, but air pistol? Dunno, just wait and see.
I'm not really attached to everybody in the club yet, so there's really nothing to look forward to, lol. But if it's np, I'll DEFINITELY be interested coz I know everbody there and it'll be fun, no matter how many pumping we do, lol.
Later went for chess club mst. Haha, second time chess club have mental skill training but I not interested, coz whatever ms nancy taught was the same as she did for air pistol, lol. She said that experienced ppl who practice these methods of mental training are able to give themselves more mental and physical strength when they 'anchor'. LOL. I'm also not really interested in 'anchoring', coz I feel that if we want to succeed we should instead just concentrate and focus, whatever...
I don't think that method works all the time, right?
Whatever.
In the afternoon had chess practice, haha, trashed jia hui at the last game.
Then me, jia hui and aaron did something daring and interesting, haha. Nice, but we stopped after a while, no guts :P
Haiz, then came back home, played cs, eat dinner, wash dishes, then now blogging.
NOW BORING. zzzzz....

Going for air pistol competition on 11 nov, representing NP.
Haha, can gain UOPA points? Hope so, lol.
I can't resist putting this down, it happened last night, very funny.
I was on msn when roland logged in and talked to me. At first I didn't believe it was really him, because so many ppl knew his password that they had been logging in and making trouble, so I didn't believe it was roland.
He first asked for any photos that I had, then I refused him. After that I asked him to prove himself to be roland. He showed me some photos of himself but I was still skeptic, so I asked him to call me to confirm instead. Then he actually refused, so when this kind of thing happens you will surely think he's a fake right? Haha.
Then he asked me for li shuang's blog. So I thought, ok, I'll give it to him. Then later, he asked for the password. I didn't give it to him coz I wasn't totally sure he was for real, so I asked him to call me again. And again he refused. LOL.
And guess what, after a while, I received a call, and it was from roland. He said," EH, enough already or not? "
I laughed till I wanted to cry, LOL.

Yo, check out this website, for those of you who don't already know.
http://museum-of-twits.blogspot.com/Haha, it's really funny, talking about twits and himbos and bimbos. It's an anti-twit blog, so any of you who think that you are a twit, please go read it and smash your computer screen thereafter. HAHA.
Go check out the cyndi wang and 20 pose ideas entries, man, I read them till late in the night and woke up at 12 today.

Misconception
You gave me the impression
You made me the confession
You said to be with me
You said for us to see
I was given this dream
I was in the moonlight's beam
Yet we did not rhyme
For I could not fanthom your mind
And a Rose you were like
With pricks tapered to spikes
They pierced my heart
Like icecold darts
You said we'd leave
Yet I could not bear to believe
Will we be together?
Will it be forever?
Or will we always be apart?
Never a place for me in your heart?

Composed by ME so don't claim credit for it.

OMFGOOSE, my bro is now worried that he'll go into an FP class next year. It seems really very scary to think of that, trying to put myself in his shoes, lol. He's already failed his maths and mt, he passed his english and tomorrow he's getting his science paper back. If he fails this one, he'll probably go to an FP class. Hell, I've never seen him worried about his studies before until now. He really should have studied hard for the exams, haiz...
By the way, FP means Foundation Programme. It's just a nicer expression for EM3, omgoose.
Imagine, this way, you will have to work really really really hard to get into express in secondary school, there's no other way round. So, I dunno what to say to him, except that pray hard and be prepared.
--< blabbered at 11:10 PM >--
I seriously don't know what to blog right now. I came to the create post page, coz I wanted to blog, but now that I'm here, I actully dunno what I want to say.
