Long time no blog. Why? Coz I didn't feel like it.
Now, seeing this blog so empty I decided to do it some justice, and here's my first post in a very long time!
Seriously, a lot going on. Homework, it's like continuous tsunamis pounding you until you break. I can't seem to finish them by the end of the day and I always have to finish it the next day at school. And that horrible social studies essay, LOL. I didn't bring home my ss textbook on that day, along with my notes, and my sec2 history textbook was missing!!! I was seriously pissed off with myself and I somehow managed to get a fever that night. Cool right? In the end I went online to search for info and completed a two-page essay. Not bad, considering that my head was already ready to burst into a million pieces.
We had mr ong to observe our campcraft training on thursday and I think that he has really been a great help. He pointed out a lot of our mistakes and thought of a lot new ways to solve the problems. I think he's good enough to par with joe sir. They both take on different views on how we should train, but I think that mr ong is better in that aspect. He told us instead of slowly reducing the timing for each session, we would be better off aiming at our 15min target directly. i dunno how the rest feel about it, but I think it's good. But the best thing is that he taught us how to cut twines with our bare hands! Cool, isn't it? We wouldn't have even heard of the idea if he hadn't taught us, lol.
The holidays are staying for a long time, so I can slack on the homework now, haha.

Went to school quite early this morning, considering that we missed the bus. I forgot to help roland to hand in his maths 2, so had to rush to the teacher's cupboards to place it there, and guess what I found... All the 3/7 maths 2 books are still there, and I'm like, LOL.
Went back to class with a sudden searing stomachache, was damn horrible. Dunno whether is eat something wrong or what. Then by recess it subsided, and came back again in full measure during lunch. It's like, the human body is really unpredictable?
Then we got the keys to the NP room and took out the pegs. Pegged for a while and aggravated our blisters a little bit, then used and iron mallet from the D&T department. Very nice! The mallet could drive the peg into the soil so much faster then with another peg! Had a hilarious time throwing pegs and the mallet. I cleaned up the NP room a bit before we left, and it was really dirty omgoose. The logistics section at the back was so bloody cramped and the floor might make people sneeze.
Waited for aaron and in the end we went home on the bus while he walked back, LOL, sad.

What do we do campcraft for?
Right now we are training like mad for the campcraft competition, but do you know why we are doing it?
Some of us may think that is just required of us to go for the competition, but think of what we are doing it for. We are doing it to attain gold for our unit. Our unit has been getting silver for five consecutive years, if I'm not wrong. It's time for us to get gold for the first time ever. This campcraft competition is one of the main factors affecting our unit's performance in the Unit Overall Proficiency Award. We must get into the top 50 placings and this can only be done if we all practise hard and work together.
I know that some of you may not feel that this is as important to you as some of your other activities, but please try to think about what is at stake here. All these things about wanting to avoid trainings and push back training dates are not going to help us get through the competition. I know that it is hard to catch up with studies and all but proper time management can be the key to improving in studies and in our campcraft. Just like joe sir said, he could practise almost every single day and yet could keep up with his homework.
The gold unit must be ours to take this year. All the other UGs have gotten gold and we are the only one left behind. If you take a look at this year's (2006) stardate, you will see that under the cca/uniformed groups section, all the other UGs are listed as "gold units" and NPCC is left unmentioned as the last one. if we do well for our campcraft and other criterias this year, we would then be able to show the NPCC is no pushover and that we are capable of attaining gold. This is OUR cca, OUR unit, OUR PRIDE, when we get gold, we will be proud to say that we are from NPCC and that it is OUR cca.
Remember, it is not up to the CIs, the HOs, or the NCOs work that we have to depend on, it is our own efforts that will reap the reward.

I haven't blogged for like, erternity. Just didn't feel like blogging all of a sudden. Homework, cca, etc are taking up a lot of time. I think I even forgot how to type already, lol.
Had a hectic day of campcraft today. Not very fun. We had to build up all of our structures under 20 minutes and it wasn't very easy. Everybody's morale was super low. Mother Nature was all against us today. Our timing was always above 20 minutes.
We need a miracle before the competition.

House meeting and campcraft training today. House meeting was a total bore, except maybe for humaira's screaming and random shouting of names, dots... Campcraft was better, we built the totally wrong thing today for the shelter, and joe sir had us to redo the entire thing, not cool. We also did the flagstaff, but with four people lol. Not bad, but the whole thing was surprisingly steady even though the ropes were not tight, haha, first time tie flagstaff what...
Training again tomorrow, and the whole squad has to fall in with full-u, dunno what for. I'm really damn tired, I don't need another day's training to wipe me out, lol.

I don't know what to blog about, and this is true, even though you're seeing this entry here.
Maybe I'll think of something...

Okay!
This week's going fine so far, I'm having lesser trouble understanding A maths, thanks to mrs yap, lol. We haven't really touched on geog at all. mdm saudah just comes in and talks about life experiences, not that they're bad, really! Because I still haven't gotten my geog textbook yet. Chemistry books are not in stock either, shit. I'm giving money to the bookshop so that they can safekeep books for me, yes?
Finished decorating my journal, rather rushed work, though. I've realised that ms soh's cubby-hole in the english dept cupboard is almost always full. Just a few days ago, I put the class's journal's inside, and when I went to place the worksheets inside just now, the journals were still there, LOL.
Went to army market yesterday. The first time I saw so many guys getting ready for NS, all crowding around and buying stuff. And they all have the same hairstyle, LOL. If roland went there the shopkeepers would probably think he was with the NS crowd too, haha. We couldn't find what mr soh wanted, but found a really nice pair of half-gloves, which we bought. Real cool, like all the motorbike gangs, lol. Didn't manage to do much homwork that day, and in the end, I rushed everything today, including the NP reflection, which I didn't hand up in any case...
Good luck for us tomorrow. We have our phototaking and we still have dry shoot, ass. Not cool, walter can't go coz mrs yap doesn't allow him to be absent from tomorrow's afternoon lesson.
It's now raining cats and dogs/ birds and fish/ ants and spiders/ ducks and pigs, etc etc. Going to sleep soon, maybe...

Zzzzz, it's been raining like hell these few days, and because of that, we couldn't practise our campcraft yesterday.
Going to army market later to research on some stuff for our uniform, I'll have to make it quick, coz I've still got a ton of homework to finish coupled books to buy and to decorate...

Had campcraft training today and was not bad. We built a basha out of 9 ponchos and cleverly(i daresay) tied it up neatly to the side of the staircase. It was big and cool.
The 5-Star Basha!!!
We even put potted plants as decoration at the sides and an extra clothes hanger when we finished. Of course, joe sir wasn't so impressed coz he pointed out that there would be no staircase for us to tie the basha at in the field, LOL.
Then we previewed the gadget that we are supposed to build during the competition. But of course, not disclosing whatever it is, in case anyone decides to steal an idea...
lol, we got shouted at by joe sir for not lying down fast enough, dots... Hmmm, we still haven't finished tying the flagstaff. Actually it'll be pretty cool to erect the flagstaffs in the parade square, LOL. But we'll probably have to peg through the cement, haha.
Was a bit late to collect the scholarship thing today. It was raining and we were stuck at milkk cafe, then we took a bus, which took
forever to reach yishun, and from there it took
forever for 811 to arrive. I almost regretted not walking there, coz when I reached there, everybody was still waiting for the MP to come. FRUSTRATION. I was hot and sweating as I sat down beside two girls and I'm surprised they didn't react to anything. jia sheng was already seated there when I came, haha, just like last year, he was seated behind me again.
Speech was B-O-R-I-N-G. I couldn't stand it, first, the mc talks, then the MP talks, then the mc talks again. sian 1/2.
Prize presentation was even more boring, that I can tell you. Sat there with my insides screaming with boredom. Couldn't be more glad when it was my turn, lol. wen yan was actually there today as well, and anyway, didn't see ji yuen.
Another $500!!! My mum would be disappointed if I don't get anything next year.

Today wasn't that spectacular at all. First of all, we were almost late coz jia hui forgot to take his crest out in the morning. Then when we reached sembawang it was already 7.25, dammit. By another miraculous stroke of luck, mr soh's car stopped beside us once again at the side of the road and he gave us a lift. This is the second time I've sat in mr soh's car already, lol, and the second time escaped from being late.
Of course, with 'lateness' still in mind, I was late again during recess. We were supposed to be back by 10.20, and I insisted on eating something. By the time I finished buying the stuff, roland and the rest had already gone up, and I was seriously panicking coz there weren't any other sec3s in the canteen. Can you imagine? Never mind. Anyway, soo teck and his councillors stopped me from going up, and for some strange reason, I forgot to mention to them about the test. Back in class, everybody was already bending over their test papers, SHIT.
I didn't finish the test on time, believe me. So wish me lots of luck.
Bazaar was horrible. The performance was like shit. And the nco don't really need to spin just to grab attention, their static stunts are already enough to impress. I now understand how some of them can stand not being an AI.
I'm feeling really helpless now. Am I allowed to take the pds? Or will I be pushed to do something else?

Today was really like shit. Almost everything, asshole.
I'm beginning to dislike physics because it seems to have so much to do with maths, and I just can't stand the sight of numbers and formulas on my science papers. I like chemistry better, the lesson is more interesting, talking about particle arrangement, and we've only had one bio lesson so far, lol. A maths is ok for now, haha, hate to think about the later parts, and E maths is not easy to understand, for me lah.
You know what, I'm starting to think that I'm something like a lagger, while other people seem to be able to understand what the teacher is talking about, I seem to be sitting down there like a blur sotong. I mean, I just can't seem to grasp the idea as fast as the others, and mind you, roland is sitting beside me and he gets half the page of a science worksheet done before I even finish the first question. It makes me feel like kind of, stress lor. Other people are speeding through the work and I just sit there, dumbstruck. It's like they know something I don't, and I hate feeling inferior.
Tomorrow's the cca bazzaar(bazaar?), and if we don't cock up at all during the performance tomorrow, it'll be something close to a miracle. I haven't polished my boots yet, and it's already like, 11.11pm. joon kiat said he allows us to use kilat, just as long as our boots blind somebody tomorrow, but of course, nobody's going to be so stupid as to use it, lol, I mean, who even
has kilat at home?
Please lah, let more boys join NP, our squad is pathetic, only 9 boys, and when I compare with other schools its like, the complete dombalek of our squad.
On second thoughts, maybe I'll just go to sleep and skip the polishing part...

I'm changing the song to 'kenji'.
This is for all you history-enthus out there, for a deeper insight into how life was like for the Japanese in America during WWII. Don't ask me about the PCTP of this song, I'm not sure, but I think that it's fairly accurate because mike shinoda's depicting his ancestor's life in America, and he's half-Japanese so I don't think he'll be crapping around with this song.
--< blabbered at 9:07 PM >--
Have alot to talk about today, lol. First, when I put on my longpants, it was like, bloody hell, the thing couldn't fully cover my shoes; everything was gathering at the bottom of the shoes. jia hui didn't look any better, I just don't think that black shoes match the pants at all, it looks strange, then again, I probably look strange as well, dots...
jia sheng looks cool, lol.
When I heard mr tan yee kan speak, I suddenly realised that I would kind of miss the way that mr tan teck hock used to address the school the last time. I mean, not anything to offend mr tan(yee kan), but I feel that mr tan teck hock has more of a personality when he speaks to the school, it's like something special only he has, for example: "first and foremost..."
LOL
But really, hard to get used to now.
We have so many teachers, lol. Let me try to name them all out, ms soh, ms kong, mdm tan, ms tan, and.... many many more? I forgot, haha. We got all female teachers so far. And we dunno our mt teachers. Ms soh talked alot about english(promoting her own subject) and about entering JCs and Polys. Seems like a really tough life for BOTH. Ms soh talked to us so much about the o levels that for a moment I seriously thought we were in sec4 already, dots...
I forgot to bring my report book, LOL. Ms soh just said, bring tomorrow, haha. I fell asleep in ms tan's class I think. I just couldn't stand it. The stiff atmosphere and the monotonous droning really turned my mind off. I kept dropping my head and roland kept shaking me awake, dots... It was really damn boring, when your eyelids get so heavy you just can't resist closing them. Guess what our physics teacher said(I can't remember her name)? She told us that before mid-year all of us would fail our physics, goddammit. I dunno how to react, but perhaps it's true? Ms soh told us we'll be writing our spontaneous writing in multiply blogs, and I was like, wtf? Means I'll have to keep 2 blogs lol. If they ask us to write our journals in there as well, I think I'll just copy and paste whatever I write here into the multiply, minus all the slangs and swearwords, of course, lol.
Went to milkk cafe to eat again, which I sorely regretted, for I had to spend $4, while it would have been cheaper to eat at school. Went to collect my books today, and I forgot that I had already paid the full amount for all the books, so I brought over a hundred $$ today, LOLROFLLMAO.
Then I went out to buy some exercise books for my brother, who
can't buy them himself, zzzzzzz. At cambridge, I met ji yuen. Man, it's like, a total shock, long time no see? She called out to me and I was stunned, lol. Yup, she still has neck length hair and strangely enough she was wearing longpants, ??. Haha, but the worst part was I didn't even say goodbye to her, dots...
Prepare for a year of slogging up ahead this year my friends, the teachers' threats are never empty, I assure you.

I suppose real player really does suck on my phone, ya, and the sound really sucks too, doesn't do enough justice to the song.

Well, it appears that I can't really staple all those that I've done into the new english set, the exercises are spread out all over the place, irritating, had to redo everything in the end.
I dunno where all my homework are now. My summaries, not sure whether is with aaron or jia jun, and I dunno whether rahimi still has my maths or not, dots...
I got my dad to ask his colleauges to do the sana transfer agent thing! LOL. I gave him 7 copies, then one for him, one for my mum, and one for my bro, HAHA. I'm doing the poster tomorrow.
I have to make one thing very, very clear. There's no way in a thousand years am I converting to a christian, no way. Nicholas and his pals keep calling me and contacting me, persuading me to go for service again, but I really don't want to convert. I feel that I like being what I am right now, a plain free thinker. I don't want to be bound by culture and religion, I don't want to have to make commitments and I still like my beef, thank you very much. I like being a free thinker, nobody's gonna phsyco me into any religion, be clear of that.
--< blabbered at 9:57 PM >--
I totally forgot about the sana thing, I still have to give out the transfer agent thing to like, 10 people before the start of school, and then there's still the poster to be done. Damn, I dunno how I'm going to find the people to give the transfer agent thing to by the end of the holidays...
Going to start on the remaining english homework today, maybe I'll just finish the whole thing, haha, depends on my mood.
My mum's laptop kena a virus, goddammit. The homepage keeps changing to this idiotic search engine page, and there's no antivirus installed. The new computer arrived a few days ago, forgot to mention it, but it's not exactly very good, almost the same as the old one. Free gifts from starhub can't be too good. That time we got a free xbox from them for upgrading the broadband, but my dad sold it off to a friend for $200, LOL.
School's going to start soon, and suddenly I'm wishing that the holidays could just extend for another month more, just another month... I can't bear to leave the honeymoon period :P
